Our college, Tamás Scsaurszki summarized the first one and a half years of the Hungarian Community Foundation Support Programme (CFSP) in an article for the Global Fund for Community Foundations with the title „But will anybody be interested?”. Tamás briefly describes the context of our work as well as our first steps, results and our goals. What makes Hungary an interesting case is the different funding situation. Other countries in the region starting their programmes 10-15 years ago had enjoyed long-term foreign support for their efforts to establish community foundations. The case for Hungary is likely to be different so he finishes his writing with a provoking sentence: who is interested in supporting community foundation in Hungary…???
